Numi Foundation works to bring clean, safe drinking water and sanitation to Numi Organic Tea sourcing partners around the world. We work in collaboration with these farming communities, and the farmers themselves are the first funder for each of our projects. We take a long-term view on all our campaigns; instead of years, we think in terms of generations.
To date we have transformed the lives of over 10,000 farmers and families with your help. Our first H2OPE project impacted over 4,000 people in our turmeric farming community in Madagascar, who experienced clean, safe drinking water for the first time in their lives (see video here). From there we helped the 6,500 residents of India’s largest organic, fair trade tea estate and a small rooibos-growing community in rural South Africa. Our next project will be in Egypt’s oldest farming community, where we source our mint and chamomile, yet almost a thousand farmers and families lack access to the clean water and proper sanitation they need to thrive.

And more recently, when Russia invaded Ukraine, we sprung to action and raised funds to provide water and power to 80,000 displaced Ukrainians.
